About Us

St. Francis Xavier Higher School, Dotma was established on 18 April 1986, in order to provide education to young catholic Christians who were deprived of basic education. Rev. Fr. Edward D'Souza a great missionary in Bodoland region was given responsibility to see the work. Today the school has grown strength to strength. The school provides education for all without any distinction of caste creed, language and religion. The school educates young pupils in the Don Bosco way to become honest citizens and good human beings. We faithfully continue the tradition established by Don Bosco, based on Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. Don Bosco boy's hostel and Auxilium Convent for girls were opened to help students coming from remote village and other districts.
