New Academic Heights Public School was formed in 2005 under the banner of Maa Bhadrakali Educational Trust. It is a well-established school for age group from 3 + to 14+.

Today, we are a thriving, independent, co-educational school, with high academic standards a wide range of curricular, sporting, cultural and outward-bound opportunities. We work closely with parents to ensure that their child's individual needs are identified and met. We have the commitment that there should be all round development of the children, as all the parents have expectation that their child should be sound in all respect so that the child becomes a responsible citizen of the country.

For day-to-day purposes the pre-school is independent of the Senior School but the close proximity gives the pre-school access to excellent support and facilities. As the children move from pre-school, they enter the Senior School in a smooth transition. Our school has more emphasis on security of students. We have provided all the facilities for children like modern and well equipped science lab, math lab, computer lab, smart classes, computer aided learning, indoor and outdoor games facilities, experienced and highly qualified teachers, bus/ vehicle facilities etc.

We want to say to the parents that ultimately without their cooperation nothing is possible. We are providing special facilities to the parents who have two or more children or have single girl child, on taking admission in our school. We take great pride in the quality of the relationships between pupils and staff. Our pupils are from a variety of backgrounds.

The school is located approx 1 km away from Hazaribagh Town, in a pleasant, soothing and silent environment at N.H. 33, Panchsheel colony, Masipirhi. The School's campus is spread over beautiful stretch of land and mountains and soothing scenary. Our school consist of admirable designed building, classrooms, administration blocks, laboratories, etc. Designed by renowned architects, the building is a perfect blend of elegance and functionality. The Large classroom has a seating capacity of 40 students with one student one desk facility. We provide other activities including indoor and Outdoor sports, culture activities and drills.

PRINCIPAL’s DESK :

I believe my role as an educator is to guide and nurture the next generation to establish skills to achieve health, respect, prosperity and fulfilment. I am very fortunate to work with such dedicated, innovative and caring staff members, parents and students. I find each day an adventure filled with new experiences, learning for all, and a chance to constantly widen our horizons. It always gives me a great pleasure to see the sea of smiling faces of children and I must admit that on many days it is the students who make my day a little brighter.

I am passionate about students being empowered to succeed. As Principal, I use all tools available to inspire staff, students and community to work together to promote student achievement and well-being. Expectations for our students are high. We firmly believe that every girl and boy can experience success and go on to graduate as a responsible, resilient and confident young adult, well prepared to take charge of their future and to become a productive member of the community. I am an avid supporter of effective and innovative professional development that encourages teachers and all staff members to be reflective and to continuously examine our practice to provide quality teaching and learning for each student. My role as Principal is to keep up with latest trends and research and be an active partner in the school's professional development.

Our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed to ensure that we are following the most updated best practices, meeting all regulations, and addressing the future needs of our students. Our staff consistently follows current trends and after brainstorming over the best plan of action to incorporate those trends, the system of education has become so dynamic that it is no longer enough to connect the dots, we need to think out of the box and think beyond a pattern.

The students at NAHPS are offered many opportunities to explore their interests and investigate new ideas. We offer many clubs, activities, sports and a large variety of musical ventures that our students can participate in. Many of our students are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities that allow them the opportunity to grow at their own pace in a safe, nurturing environment. Our list of clubs, activities and other extracurricular offerings are broadened each year with a hope to have something that interests every student. The students are encouraged to take part in all the internal and external events and are given enough guidance and practice before being exposed to the competitions.

Community engagement and involvement in the school is important to me as Principal. I regularly consult with my community as part of school self-review and encourage community engagement in the curriculum and learning programmes.
