About Us
St Teresa's Secondary School was founded in Calcutta on 8th September 1885 by the religious congregation of the daughter's of the cross, which was founded by Blessed Mother Marie Therese Haze from Liege, Belgium. Being a catholic school it is administered by the congregation under the Roman Catholic Church. Blessed Mother Marie Therese Haze bought this place from the British. The building initially housed a hospital till 1885, when it was transformed into a School.
