About Us

Children’s Foundation School was founded in 1982 by Sri Shourabh Mukerji with the revered blessings of Mother Teresa. The foundation stone was laid by Sri B.D. Pande, the then Governor of West Bengal.

Over the years, CFS has earned a reputation for itself for providing quality education that is child friendly and value-driven. At Children’s Foundation School, we are committed to align the minds of our students with enquiry, their hearts with compassion and dedicate their lives to service. Children's Foundation School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, conducting examinations at both class X and class XII level.

ADMISSION DETAILS

Admission Forms for Nursery to Class I will be available from 1^st November, 2025.
Admission Forms for Class II to Class IX will be available from 17^th November, 2025.

Age Limit

Nursery: Minimum 3 years as on 1^st April, 2026
Lower Infants: Minimum 4 years as on 1^st April, 2026
Upper Infants: Minimum 5 years as on 1^st April, 2026
Class I: Minimum 6 years as on 1^st April, 2026

Supporting Documents required with the Application:

Photocopy of the Birth Certificate from the Municipality / Corporation
Photocopy of the Immunisation Certificate
Recent passport-size colour photographs of student, father and mother (one each)
Documents supporting income stated in the Admission Form.
Photocopy of the Aadhar Card of the student and parents.
Photocopy of the Half yearly mark sheet of the present class (class I upwards)
Transfer Certificate from the previous school upon Admission (class II upwards)

Timing for collecting the Forms - 09:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday)

Cost of the Form – Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty Only)
Documents required for purchase of the Admission Form -
1. Birth Certificate from the Municipality / Corporation
Selection will be based on the Interview, marks secured in the Admission test (if Maths is opted for in class XI) and the marks obtained in the current school examination.
Admission will be provisional till the Mark Sheet and the Pass Certificate issued by the Council / Board is submitted.
Original Migration Certificate is required to be submitted by students applying from other boards.
Original Transfer Certificate is required to be submitted by students applying from another school affiliated to the CISCE.
