DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL HAZARIBAG is situated in the eco-friendly environment. It has bloomed into a multidimensional widely acclaimed school under the patronage of Mr. Manoj Kumar Nirala, the Director and Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, the Manager of school. The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), Delhi up to Sr. Secondary level and managed by Green Valley Educational Trust. It runs the classes from Nursery to Std. XII. It is purely English Medium Co-educational School. We at Delhi Public School, Hazaribag, believe in “Quality Education” emphasizing holistic development of students which has been proved by the exemplary academic excellence achieved by our students and their breath-taking performance in the fields of sports and co-curricular activities. CURRICULUM

 Medium of instruction is English. The academic session runs from April to March. The school follows the 10+2 pattern of education of CBSE Board, preparing students for all the All India Secondary Examination of class X and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination of class XII. Character formation and development of moral values are imparted to students through the teaching of moral education.

 

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

 The school helps each child to develop his/her capacity and inborn talent to its fullness for which co-curricular activities are an indispensable part of school life. To foster qualities of team-spirit, self-confidence, co-operation and the spirit of emulation, the School has introduced “House-System”, where the students are divided into four houses namely Discipline, Punctuality, Sincerity, and Honesty with each having their own colour as a symbol, Yellow, Red, Blue and Green respectively. House activities are performed under the leadership of House Captains and supervised by the teachers acting as House Masters and House Mistress. Calendar of events are published in the school diary at the commencement of academic session. Inter house activities are organised weekly for which students are properly trained and coached by the experts. An art and craft exhibition and science cum computer exhibition are held every year.
