DPS Prayagraj is an initiative of the Delhi Public School Society which has eminent jurists, educationists and administrators on its management. The school, started in 2006 in 16 acres of land, has an imposing structure and elegant design which is accentuated by beautiful landscaping. The expansion of senior block/wing is in progress.

The school has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Geography and Computer Labs. Computer training is imparted to students from class Pre-Nursery upwards. The most recent addition to the school’s illustrious repertoire are the smart classes which has added new dimensions to the teaching-learning process. It also has a well stocked electronic library.

Besides Academics, the school also offers a wide array of sports and cultural activities to enhance the creative and physical abilities of the students. It has a splash pool, a horse riding club, tennis & basketball courts and facilities for sports like football, volley ball, cricket, table tennis, skating, athletics etc. Students have already participated and won laurels at the State and National levels in some of these sports. By way of cultural activities besides the usual dramatics, debates, quiz, music, dance etc., the school also has an active Environment and Organic Club.

DPS Prayagraj is not merely a center for education but a training ground of young minds to imbibe the highest values of character and national service.

Since it’s inception in year 2006, Delhi Public School, Prayagraj, has been stepping up the success scale by not only expanding horizontally and vertically, but also by carving a niche for itself in all the realms of education. We are concerned with the growth of every child’s intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic and spiritual potentials.

Nurturing a sound value system in students has always been the chief focus of DPS Prayagraj. We have also made our mark in the field of inclusive education. Differently abled students have been blooming wonderfully at all class levels.

On the academic front, the school has been raising the bar year after year by attaining outstanding board results with 100% pass percentage. Our students have been city and district toppers and are successfully studying in the technical and non-technical colleges of national and international repute.

Participation in well planned Inter-DPS Cyber, Science, Heritage and Mathematics fests provides experiential learning to our students to address diverse issues that confront our largely inter-connected world. On the sports front we have many budding lawn-tennis, basketball, cricket, table tennis and chess players who are bringing laurels to school with their superlative performance in Inter-DPS, Inter-School and state level events.

An experienced faculty is provided to create an encouraging and challenging environment in order to shape the fragile minds of our young ones and to put them on the road to all-round excellence. The role of good facilities along with a supportive faculty is much understood by the school, thus, DPS Prayagraj offers all the amenities required to benefit its students and faculty.
