DPS Hazaribag a franchise of DPS Society is situated in the vicinity of Hazaribag, 1 km away from chaotic city life amidst lush green surrounding with an apt environment for teaching and learning. In its continual efforts to revolutionize the education scenario in the city, it was established in the year 2015 with its motto ‘SERVICE BEFORE SELF’.

It is a co-educational school with the state of the art infrastructure.

CODE OF CONDUCT

GUIDELINE TO STUDENTS

• Students are strictly prohibited to carry mobile phones, pods or any other electronic gadget to school. These will be confiscated if a student is carrying them. The gadget will be returned to parents only after a payment of fine of Rs.200/ Repetition of any such act will result in dismissal.
• No student should carry cash to school.
• Every child must come in a neatly washed and ironed uniform everyday. Students who are not in proper uniform will not be allowed to school.
• Every child must maintain personal hygiene. Nails must be clean and short. Hair must be regularly trimmed. Carrying a handkerchief is compulsory.
• Hair must be neatly maintained. Girls must tie their hair in neat ponytails or plaits. Boys must keep their hair short.
• Children should never cheat during exams or resort to any unfair means in competitions.Any such behavior is subject to penalization.
• The act of bullying or use of obscene language is punishable. Running or shouting in corridor is not allowed. Offences of this nature are considered serious and there is zero tolerance for this.
• All articles lost and found are kept as lost property. A nominal fine is imposed on returning the article (if found), to student for being careless.
• The school gate closes 10 min before the morning prayer. Students arriving late will not be allowed to enter the school premises.
• Pupils should always greet teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant way wherever they meet them.
• The School reserves the right to dismiss any pupil:

1. For breach of discipline.
2. For unsatisfactory progress in work.
3. For detention or repeated detention in class.
4. Whose conduct sets a bad example for others.
    

GUIDELINE TO PARENTS

• Your ward should report to school on time, bring all the necessary books according to the time table and come in proper uniform.
• Your wardmust have 75 % attendance by the end of the academic year, failing which, they will not be eligible for promotion to the next class.
• In case of any change in your address and contact numbers notify the school office and the class teacher regarding the same.
• Your ward must not carry any expensive articles to school. In case they are lost, the school is not responsible for it.
• Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers when he / she in the class. In case of any need, prior appointment may be sought from the school office.
• Students are not allowed to leave school premises during school hours, unless it is an emergency for which the principal’s office should be contacted.
• Encourage your child to speak in English. Listening to English news and reading the English newspaper should be his/her routine.
• You can meet the principal in her office on all working days. Prior appointment is advised to avoid inconvenience.
• We always encourage communication, your suggestions are valuable to us. Understand that the school staff and parents need to work together for the benefit of all.
• Please read the remarks made in the diary and duly respond. Regularly attend parent-teacher meeting. Collect the result personally on the day of the declaration of result.

The above written rules are subject to further addition of some rules, amendments or deletion according to the decision description of the school management committee (SMC). It is assumed that parents/guardian has gone through the prospectus and has consented to the rules & regulations and the instructions mentioned in it.
