GREATER TRIVENI PUBLIC SCHOOL also called as G.T.P.S. was founded by the chairman of the school Shri Pravin Kumar Singh, Ex. M.L.C., Bihar. The school was inaugurated by Shri Inder Singh Namdhari, Honorable Speaker, Jharkhand Assembly and Shri Babulal Marandi, Ex-Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

The School got affiliation in the year 2006 from the Central Board of Secondary Education also known as C.B.S.E., New Delhi to run the school till class 10. On the basis of the school's academic achievements and infrastructural development in the year, 2010 the school got upgraded from C.B.S.E to run the school til +2 level. G.T.P.S. is the only school in Lohardaga district that has the affiliation to run all the three streams Science, Commerce and Humanities at 10+2 level.

The school has a large magnificent building surrounded by a lush green garden with a huge campus spread in a large area. It is situated in a pollution and plastic-free zone, fit for nurturing all types of academic activities. It has a team of workaholic, devoted, trained and active teachers with supporting staff. We provide a happy, purposeful, safe academic environment to our students to achieve success.

The aim of G.T.P.S is to form an integrated and responsible person, committed to peace and justice and ambitious for outstanding achievements.

Greater Triveni Public School firmly believes that every individual is a unique entity and this uniqueness gets a right shape and path through proper education system. Education is not an act of just acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality and personality cannot be developed without faith.

Faith in oneself and one’s abilities is the cornerstone of power and strength that move not only the individual but everything in this universe. One who lacks faith is like one without a spinal cord which supports the entire body structure and is a means of balance and equilibrium of our entire personality, physical appearance, mental and spiritual excellence. All ventures of life and adventure in the world are sustained by faith. Even the mountain can make way for those who are agog with faith. Faith is a cementing factor of all our abilities, capabilities, strength and potentialities. One who is without faith fumbles founders and falls on the way? Faith is the voice of the conscience. A man without faith is like a bird without wings.  And we the member of GTPS don’t want that any of our student fail in their life. Thus, we try hard to achieve the ingredient of success i.e. faith amongst our students.

And all this could not be possible without the support of my devotional and hardworking team members. I give my heartiest thank to all my teachers, supporting staff and all who directly or indirectly support us to turn our dreams into reality. Year after year GTPS is achieving new milestones in the field of academics, sports and co-curricular activities and I am certain the same will be continued.

FACILITIES: 

• We have a modern library equipped with e-learning system and a collection of more than 25,000 books on various subjects along with informative and educative periodicals.
• We have well-furnished laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology. We have a well-advanced Computer lab with more than 30 PCS connected with Wifi facility.
• We are edged with Digital Classrooms to impart education through Audio-Visual method. We are supported by the English Language Lab to enhance the speaking-learning skill of the students.
• Special attention is paid towards Yoga, Art & Craft, Drawing, Music, Dance, Drama for the multidimensional development of the students. An inclination for games and sports with a crew of renowned coaches for Cricket, Football, Archery, and separate grounds for Badminton, Volleyball, Table-tennis.
• We have a swimming pool in our primary section.
• We provide transport facility from all corners of the town and the attached areas of Lohardaga District.
• We have achieved 100% result in All India Secondary School Examination, 2017 and 94% result in AISSCE 2017. We have produced National and International players especially in Archery, Cricket, and Football & Badminton.
• We believe in Parent-School partnership to learn through parent's wisdom and experience by maintaining close ties with them, by having regular Parent-Teacher Meeting. The school also educates parents by conducting workshops and programs.
• We also organize Excursions, Picnics, Summer Camps and many other tours to enrich the knowledge of the students.
