An earnest desire to provide an educational centre of excellence to the children of Central Howrah and surroundings resulted in the opening of Gyan Bhavan Howrah School (GBHS) in 2015. The school is promoted and managed by Gyan Bhavan Public Charitable Trust, known for its commitment for quality education, social welfare and upliftment. • Classes I to V : 11:20 AM to 3:30 PM
• Classes VI to XII : 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Day Boarding

• Classes I to V : 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Classes VI to X : 7.30 AM to 2:30 PM

 

ADMISSION PROCESS & DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

For Pre-Primary Sections - Parents will be given an appointment to meet the school authorities after submission of the Admission Form along with the relevant documents (list below). Parents are requested to carry the original documents to the school on the date of the interaction for verification.

For Classes I to IX - After submission of the Admission Form along with the relevant documents (list below), an admission test (syllabus of admission test will be given) will be scheduled by the school office. Candidates who qualify will be called for an interaction with the school authorities along with their parents. Parents are requested to carry the original documents to the school on the date of the interaction for verification.

Please Note:

• Subjects once chosen cannot be changed.
• Only ONE subject may be selected from each Group.
• Please upload your Grade X half yearly report card.
• It is mandatory to have 5 subjects as per CBSE requirements.
• If an optional 6th subject (OPTIONAL) is chosen, the marks of this subject will be taken into consideration if the candidate does not clear any of the 5 main subjects and best 5 subjects will be counted.
