MCM WOODLAND SCHOOL

Welcome to M.C.M Woodland High School !! The demand for school of quality education with English as medium of instruction has risen sharply in last couple of decades. Parents are more inclined to get their children admitted to English-medium schools. In response to this social call, M.C.M Woodland High School has been established in Kokrajhar, BTR, Assam. The maiden session of the school started in January 1995. It has completed a journey of resounding success since it's inception.The school has been dedicated to the memory of our mother Late Shrimati Mansobha Chetri. Thus, the expanded nomenclature of the school is "Mansobha Chetri Memorial Woodland High School".

The school follows the academic curriculum envisaged by NCERT. However, from class IX onwards the school follows "Secondary Education Board Of Assam" (SEBA) curriculum. The school is presently affiliated with SEBA. The school is located at the heart of Kokrajahr city. The academic session of the school is from January to December. This is divided into two terms. The first term is from January to June followed by the half-yearly examination. The second term is from July to December followed by the annual promotion examination. Besides these two examinations, four unit tests are held from time to time with a view to assess the progress of the students. Parents play a significant role in shaping the future of their children as the roots of the children are embedded at their homes. They should therefore, monitor the day to day progress of their ward and extend support and guidance at home.
