Naihati Narendra Vidya Niketan (HS) school was established in 1933. Gradually, it has taken a position in Barrackpore Eduaction District in North 24 Parganas and West Bengal. Sabyasachi Banerjee stood first in the Madhyamik Examinations in 1986.The school has both Bengali and English medium sections, Primary section also has both mediums. From Classes V to XII the school has about 2400 students. Previously it was a Boy`s school but now it is a Co-Ed school. The school authority is trying to give an opportunity to all parts of society to get quality education.
