Education is an ongoing and never ending process, Nirja Sahay DAV, a little bud in the big vase of DAV's, is becoming a strong chain in the field of imparting education in ancient Gurukul  pattern, relating to modern activities based on play-way method of teaching. The school is situated in tranquil environment which encourages inner peace among our blooming buds. The team of zealous teachers act as a friend, philosopher and guide to our students. Our tiny wonders have really grown and distinguished themselves in their VIII Board Exam 2008-09 by securing 96.33% and the class average was scaled to 75.20. A strong bond of success is further maintained by our next batch i.e.2009-10 by keeping the spirit high and coming-up with 100 percent result. It reflects the incessant labour of children under the guidance of competent teachers and the co-operation of the parents which is highly appreciable. We are really grateful to the Goshala Management authorities for providing 7 acres of lease land for 99 years. From a tender sapling, the schools on the way of becoming a strong tree.
 

VISION AND MISSION

The DAV institutions are the gift of Arya Samaj, a progressive movement founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati in 1875. Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the great path maker of modern India led a crusade against the superstitions and pernicious practices that prevailed in contemporary India.With a view to bring about a balanced and harmonious development of the future citizens of this country and to infuse in them ideas of Vedic culture and high sense of patriotism, Arya Samaj founded a school at Lahore in 1886 in the name of DAYANAND ANGLO Vedic School. This established the DAV college Trust and Management Society which later set up a network of such educational institutions all over the country and abroad. The DAV Movement would not have achieved its goal had not a young brilliant graduate Mahatma Hansraj, the first Principal of the first DAV institution offered his honorary services as ‘Jeevan Daan’ for 25 years. Matchless also is the sacrifice of his brother, Lala Mulkraj who fulfilled his pledge of supporting Hansraj’s family all these years.
 

PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

Most responsible and most complex duty is of Principal and teachers in this creation. No one can say with certainty that what are the total factors prevail in human being which make the complete personality of the same. It is duty of educational institute (especially schools) to search always unrevealed factors of the students and mould them in the right direction to develop the thoughts which affects the personality very strongly. So we Principal and teachers should not take our service lightly as a medium which acts as a link between books and the students. 

We have to take our service as a mission which needs endless efforts to give the best shape to the society and our nation. We, the teaching team of DAV Public School with the help of all hard working staff act with clear vision that our students should develop from every corner and they should be able to lead the society with best thoughts. I think it is the real service of our country which makes our Bharat Mata to feel proud and then she infuses the thoughts to every man of this world, which results to make the whole world, an integrated family. Consequently, this world enjoys their holy life with all good qualities without fear and jealousy. We strongly believe that we are working for the above mentioned sacred cause.
