P.P. MEMORIAL ACADEMY

P.P.Memorial Academy, Dhulagori is established, owned, run and administered by P.P.Memorial Academy of Science, Howrah. It was established in March 2009 and it is under its jurisdiction since then. It is a co-educational English medium school and runs classes from nursery onwards. It is a minority community-run institution recognized by the Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal. It is seeking affiliation to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) New Delhi. It endeavours the youth to achieve the goal of education, which is to teach the students to live to discover the deeper meaning of life, to learn to interact with others , love creation, think freely and critically, find fulfilment in work, plan their future and in one word to learn to be.It is in and through education that can hope for a more human and humane future and a more harmonius society.

The school aims at the education of the people of Dhulaguri and extends its services to the people of the neighbourhood to the extent possible, The school lays great emphasis on academic performance, Character formation and all round development of the pupil in view of imparting career focussed education. It strives to inculcate moral and spiritual values based on the concept of LOVE OF GOD AND SERVICE OF MAN. The medium of instruction in all classes is English and is the first language of the school. Hindi and Bengali are taught as second languages and students of classes five , six and seven are taught Hindi or Bengali as third language.
