SALT LAKE SHIKSHA NIKETAN

 

Salt Lake Shiksha Niketan is a unit of Salt Lake Shiksha Sadan, benevolent institution registered as a non-profit making society under the Societies registration Act 1961.

It is governed by a Board of Trustees and democratically elected governing body. It’s broad aim is the all round development of the society at large. In particular, it seeks to promote the spread of education, natural regeneration and moral upliftment of the young generation to remove social evils and to upgrade the living condition of the poor and downtrodden without taking into account the caste, creed and gender in West Bengal. The area has been selected taking into mind the pollution free under developed suburban part of Salt lake City which will be in the heart of the newly developing township at Rajarhat. 

The school will cater to the needs of Mahishbathan, Salt Lake, Lake Town, Bangur, Baguiati etc. areas as well. The increasing population has created a serious and grave academic problem today specially for the general public, Some institutions are there but they are not adequate. The ambitious programme of Salt Lake Shiksha Niketan is the culmination of the vision, inspiration and Zeal of our mother body, Salt Lake Sanskritik Sansad.

The education which will be imparted and the ideals and values, students will be encouraged to imbibe in the school will represent a happy blend of the east and west. This approach will help them to develop a broadness of mind not only to view things in their right perspective but also to face life’s challenges with courage and self confidence.

Class LKG : Should have attended 1 year of PlaySchool, Minimum eligible age for admission is 3+ years as on 31st Mar’2020 

Class UKG : Minimum eligible age for admission is 4+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class I :  Minimum eligible age for admission is 5+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class II : Minimum eligible age for admission is 6+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class III : Minimum eligible age for admission is 7+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class IV : Minimum eligible age for admission is 8+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class V :  Minimum eligible age for admission is 9+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class VI : Minimum eligible age for admission is 10+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class VII : Minimum eligible age for admission is 11+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class VIII :  Minimum eligible age for admission is 12+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

Class IX : Minimum eligible age for admission is 13+ years as on 31st Mar’2020

 

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION

The following documents should be submitted along with the registration form

A group photograph of candidate, father, mother and local guardian (if applicable)

Xerox copy of Birth Certificate Issued by Municipal Corporation / Panchayat etc. (Please bring original for verification)

Medical certificate duly signed and stamped by a registered doctor

Xerox Copy of residential address proof (Please bring original for verification)

Any documents stating present class of last school (Xerox copy of progress card / fees book/Id card)

Original copy of Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate and attested copy of Report Card of the last school attended must be submitted within 31st March’2020 (Applicable for Classes II to IX)

Admission will be cancelled in case of non submission of Transfer Certificate and attested copy of Report Card by due date
