St. Francis Academy, Kanthalberia, K.L.C Kolkata is a Catholic Christian Minority Institution. It is managed and administered by “Order of Friars Minor Capuchin” Francisian, a religious charitable Society duly registered under the Registration of Societies Act No XXI of 1960 and also holding the Certificate of Registration Under West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961. It is engaged in various Spiritual, Educational and Social Activities.

The aim of this institution is to develop in the pupils those qualities that will make them worthy citizens of India. Besides instruction, the school aims at the development of the whole personality of the student. Hence education is directed towards the training of pupil’s intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, and aesthetic endowments and such other cultural attainments are suitable for boys and girls.
