Sunny Preparatory School was established in 1963 by Mr. & Mrs. Dattu Phadkar. The school laid a foundation for two generations of children. Now the school runs under the management of Bengal Education Society. It has been upgraded to a High school since 2011.
Sunny Prep & High School, at the present time, focuses on blending traditional teaching methodologies with the latest educational technology to create a dynamic and effective learning environment. Along with strong academic foundations, the school emphasises the holistic development of students, nurturing their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth.
